Meizu M5S hits 4.25 million registrations in 24 hours and keeps going

Meizu M5S was unveiled during a special event held by the Chinese company, packing a 5.2 inch IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution, along with a Mediatek MT6753 SoC with an 8-core CPU.

Gizchina News of the week

The M5S is available in two variants with 16GB of storage (priced at 115$) and 32GB of storage, priced at 145$, so with such low prices it’s no surprise that the device already hit the mark of 4.25 million registrations in under 24 hours!

As always all these are registrations, meaning that people just express their interest to buy the device and not specific purchases. However, judging by this amount of interest, it’s almost certain that all the available Meizu M5S stock will disappear in minutes when it becomes available.

I dont think I would ever buy a Meizu phone again after having used their abomination they call Flyme OS. Make sure there is an active rom community before picking this one up.

I bet you would not be able to spot the difference in a blind test between 1080p.

I have to say this isn’t my ideal phone but I do like Meizu and flyme is by far the best OS I have used, bought my friend a Meizu and they love flyme too, very smooth and stable.

I like Meizu phones but can’t imagine buying a 2017 model with such an old SOC – same one as they used in the M2 Note of a couple of years ago!

they are probably buying them by themselves, it’s embarassing how Meizu is sinking down lately, Xiaomi offers infinitely better phones in the entry level market than this 2015 remake of M2 note!

Unpaid registrations for Meizu translates to 1/1000 purchase.
