It features a 5.2 inch full HD display (IPS technology) and dual camera setup on the back, that uses a 13MPixels Sony IMX258 sensor along with a 2MP secondary sensor for impressive bokeh effects, selective focus, after shot re-focus etc. It also packs a front facing selfie camera (13MPixels), minimal dimensions and impressive build quality (according to ZTE). As we mentioned previously, the ZTE Blade V8 is available in the Chinese market starting today, in two color options (Dark Grey and Silver) priced at 1499 Yuan (approximately $218).

ZTE emphasizes a lot on its VR features so once you buy the device you can use its box as a VR Headset. Instructions on how to do this are enclosed in the package 😉

Great price but pathetic battery compared to Xiaomi’s budget phones. Wouldn’t waste my money, no matter how cheap it is, on a device with a 2700 mAh battery.

What kind of “great” price You talking about? Lenovo Z2 (foreign Zuk Z2) is less then 200USD with SD800 4/64GB and even it has a single camera, definatelly much better. This ZTE is an overpriced shit.

I saw the ZTE Blade V8 advertised at US $218 which is pretty cheap but I wouldn’t buy it. I have tried the Xiaomi Redmi 3S at only $137 US and it had a 4100 mAh battery – I like phones with long battery life.

I agree that the Zuk Z2 at under $200 is an infinitely better phone and for similar money.
