BLUBOO R1 will feature Qi wireless charging, just like Samsung’s

BLUBOO R1

Wireless charging has been around for quite a while now, but somehow it hasn’t become mainstream yet. Samsung hasĀ been one of the few companies adopting this technology on their devices in the past years, now they’ll be joined by BLUBOO with their latest BLUBOO R1, a rugged phone that willĀ support wireless charging.

Today, BLUBOO has made a video so that we can see how it actually works. Let’s have a look:

As you’ve seen in the video, the BLUBOO R1 begins charging when placed on the base which adopts Qi inductive charging technology, just like Samsung charging accessories do.

The wireless charging base can have an output ranging from 5v to 9v and 2A output current, in this case it takes 5 hours to fully charge the R1, but that’s understandable given the massive 7150mAh built-in battery.

I actually don’t feel it’s so needed, regarding the massive battery used, but as long as it doesn’t bump price up, things be fine. Hey guys, supposing it finally specs are X30 4/64 and all seen, what do you think would be retail price? It’s really getting my attention…

If it gets that kind of configuration and a decent camera I don’t mean a wow! Camera I really mean a moderate to decent performer (any Sony 21mpxels would do) I would gladly pay us$250 for it.

Yeah, count me in, but that’s the max I’d pay, taking into consideration the market.
