Elephone P9000 is still alive and kicking

Elephone P9000

Some phone models are just destined to be always immortal in the sales offers and Elephone P9000 is certainly among them. This former brand flagship is available already for way longer than you would expect and seems like it’s still alive and well.

And for the right price it can still be an interesting choice to consider even today, because it’s just stuffed full with some extra features. The hardware is not bad by itself with 5,5-inch OGS FullHD display, pretty slim and small body with 82 % screen to body ratio, Helio P10, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB of inner storage, 13 Mpix rear camera with PDAF and laser focus or 3000 mAh battery with PE+ quick charging. But it’s the extra stuff like wireless charging or NFC that can make it even more desirable.

No official version, just a buggy beta one that you have to install. I don’t think they will ever update it to Nougat.

The latest stable version of Nougat is available and works flawlessly. You just have to instal it by flashing it.
