Samsung Galaxy Note 7R receives Bluetooth SIG certification


Last month the Samsung Galaxy Note 7R popped up in Vietnam revealing some of its specs. The launch of the Note 7R seems imminent since it has now received Bluetooth SIG certification. The SM-N935F, said to be Samsung Note 7R received certification from Bluetooth SIG on May 12 making it compliant with the Bluetooth standards. The certification, however, does not reveal much information about the specs of the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7R will not be the only phablet Samsung will be  launching this year. The Note 8 will also be launched in the coming months. Rumors are rift that the Note 7R will be available for purchase only in the home country of Samsung, South Korea. There are reports that say it might even be launched in China. SM-N935S, SM-N935K and SM-N935L are the reported variants of SK Telecom, KT Corporation and LG Uplus carriers of South Korea.

On the spec front, the Galaxy Note 7R will probably spport the same specs as the Note 7, albeit with a smaller, 3,200mAh battery. The Galaxy Note 7R is said to be available in Blue Coral, Black, White and Silver. It is also said that it will run Android Nougat out of the box.

There is no solid report on the pricing of the Galaxy Note 7R, but information from China puts the price  at 3,599 Yuan($521), whereas reports from Korea state the phone to be priced at $620 in South Korea.
