Sony Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact and X1 leaked

Last week, Sony released their award winning Xperia XZ Premium in China. The latest from the family of Xperia smartphones are the Sony Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact and X1 that have leaked online.

Said to be scheduled for a September 1 release at the 2017 IFA in Berlin, the leak shows the specs of all three of the phones.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 is rumored to sport a 5.2 inch 1080p display. The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 coupled with 4GB of RAM with no word on the on board storage. The phone will be fueled by a 3,000mAh battery.

Gizchina News of the week

The next in line is the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, which, surprisingly, also sports a Snapdragon 835 with 4GB of RAM and a 2800mAh battery. As the name suggests, the phone will sport a 4.6 inch display with a 720p resolution. Sony has been famous for making compact phones that, even though small in size, mirror the specs and performance of their bigger siblings. We hope the same form the XZ1 Compact.

The last of the bunch is the Sony Xperia X1, which, from what we can judge from the specs, is a mid ranger. The X1 is powered by the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. It will sport a 5 inch 1080p display and house a 2800mAh battery.

There is no information as to when we will get to see all these phones on the market, so stay tuned!

Sony makes the best phones regarding camera, and headphone experience, period. I’m not getting anything else since Sony has the best technology in video, photography and sound.
Not sure why Sony isn’t so popular, really weird to see people purchase Huawei phones where I live, since Huawei will never match video, audio, photography technology from Sony.

because the pricetag doesn’t make sense maybe. If you are a photographer, you already own a real camera mirror or mirrorless, but you own a real device. If you are mister Lambda, the one having other hobbies, a family, or a mortgage, or anything to pay in you daily life, and that you don’t need a professional camera, you can be very happy with a phone that cost 1/3 of a Sony, with a better battery life. Eventually, you will end up doing the same useless snaps as everyone: you salad, your dog playing piano, your dick, and three other stuffs to feed Facebook or instagram. Don’t be a Jerk, you know why people buy Huawei or Xiaomi or One+, etc. I would own a Sony compact if it was sold at a price which isn’t insulting the clients. 720p and 2800mah… Ok… mid 2017, could be ok if sold around $200 max… but…

I am a photographer and I own a real mirror camera, but also as a photographer I need a phone with very good quality camera, as I don’t always carry my heavy DSLR camera, for example when biking. So I am happy with my Sony Z3 compact camera, but it lacks some functions like manual controls, going to buy X compact, as it has them and now it’s price has fallen significantly down to 299 euro for new, but I am in search of second hand with warranty left to buy it for around 200 euro
