Vivo Y66 gets a 1000 INR price cut in India

Despite being one of the many selfie-centric phones in the Indian market, the Vivo Y66 is a fairly popular device. The phone is now easier to purchase thanks to a price cut that it just received earlier today.

The Vivo Y66 is now available for 14,000 INR, going down from the 15K INR asking price. That said, Vivo India haven’t given out an official word on the price drop, which is a bit absurd.

The Y66 comes with a rather austere set of specifications, which includes a MediaTek MT6750 SoC, along with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage and a microSD slot which takes cards up to 256GB in capacity.

The phone runs Vivo’s own FunTouch OS 3.0 skin, and features a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass screen. The Y66 has done well mainly in offline markets in India, which remain to be dominated by Chinese companies.
