Huawei applies for new trademark called “4D Touch”

It seems that Huawei is going a step further this time and just applied to register a trademark called “Huawei 4D Touch” but unfortunately there are is more information available on this matter, beyond the name itself.

4d touch

Gizchina News of the week

If we were to make assumptions then it will have something to do with 3D Touch, Apple’s pressure-sensitive screen technology that debuted with the iPhone 6s.  So what could 4D Touch be all about you might ask? Right now, we have no idea, but we do know that it’s some sort of technology or feature that’s under development at Huawei.

Obviously applying for a patent doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s a new technology coming our way anytime soon, so we cannot really say if this new 4D touch is indeed some sort of pressure-sensitive solution or something entirely different. What we know for sure however is that it can be applied to any software and virtually all kinds of devices such as smartphones, tablets, smart watches, computers, cameras, fitness bracelets, etc.

Let’s see what happens in the future…
