I guess you remember the Xiaomi Mi Laser Projector that was recently unveiled by the Chinese company as one of its most expensive products with a hefty 9999 Yuan ($1,470) price tag.
This impressive gadget that allows for impressive viewing conditions on a 150 inch surface, was available today for sale via Xiaomi Mall and it seems that people loved it! It took only 2 hours (more or less) for its sales to hit 10 million Yuan ($1,470,609.86) meaning that 1000 units were sold during that time!

The Xiaomi Mi Laser Projector uses an advanced laser fluorescence display technology (ALPD 3.0) with an average life of 25,0000 hours which basically offers up to 34 years of usage, as long as the projector is used for 2 hours daily. It can display up to 150 inches with 1920 x 1080p resolution, while offering wide color gamut, color quasi, with contrast comparable to the laser studio 3000: 1 screen contrast. The light source brightness can reach up to 5000 lumens which is of theatre screen level. The projector also diffuses its direct light source, allowing for more eye protection.
Xiaomi has given a lot of thought on the sound quality of the device which is also very high, offering the Mi Laser 150âł projector the ability to provide theatre-level audio-visuals while staying inside your living room.
