As vacation time begins, holiday makers from around the world are jumping on planes, riding in taxis, and taking long train rides to get to their holiday destination. Once there they spend much of their time relaxing by the pool or on a sandy beach.

This isn’t news to anyone reading this, this has been the case for decades but what has changed is what we do when relaxing on holiday and how technology is now playing a big part of it.

Tablets are a popular vacation item, they’re big enough to catch up on the news, read a novel, watch a movie or even to entertain the kids while mum and dad head to the hotel bar.

The problem with most tablets on the market, especially models from Samsung, Asus, Lenovo or even Apple is that these devices tend to be very expensive, and while they do offer a great user experience it’s a pricey item to use on the beach, near the pool or on a crowded subway.

This is a not a powerhouse. In fact, it can hardly handle current apps well enough with only 1GB of RAM.
