Video: Gretel GT6000 vs. Oukitel K10000 Pro battery test

Gretel GT6000

Battery life has become one of the most important factors when deciding which smartphone to get, because after all, what do you need it for if there’s no juice left ? That’s why phone manufacturers have been pushing out phones with high capacity battery in the last period.

One of these manufacturers is the recently born brand Gretel with their latest Gretel GT6000 battery phone, which today we’ll be comparing to another impressive device — the Oukitel K10000 Pro.

Let’s now have closer look a the Gretel GT6000 before we compare it to the Oukitel K10000 Pro.

The Gretel GT6000 is a premium looking phone with a 5.5-inch HD Sharp display coated in 2.5D Dragontrail glass, it features a MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

In the camera department we find two 13MP Panasonic rear shooters using an MN34172 image sensor, F/2.2 aperture and 4x zoom, this setup should allow to create great looking photos with bokeh effect. Meanwhile on the front we have a 5.0MP selfie snapper with F/2.6 aperture and an LED flash light.

Gretel’s GT6000 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with a deeply customized UI, featuring Parallel Space (to sign in into two different accounts simultaneously) and one-hand mode. The phone supports 4G LTE on B1/3/7/8/20.

Last but not least, we have Gretel’s GT6000 best selling point — a big 6000mAh capacity battery encased in a premium metal body. And this is what we’ll be seeing a comparison of, against the overkill battery phone Oukitel K10000 Pro, which as the name suggests, packs an enormous 10000mAh battery. Let’s have a look:

As we can see in the video above, both phones set at the highest volume and display brightness, then play the HD video show Prison Break 4, no stops, both can play almost 17 episodes. The surprise is that Gretel GT6000 is still on to play while Oukitel K10000 pro power off, though only keep the juice left for another 2 minutes’ playback. Overall a great result for the Gretel GT6000 considering it packs 6000mAh capacity battery while Oukitel K10000 pro with 10000mAh capacity battery.

Obviously we have to be careful about company-made videos, but I noticed myself how MT6750 is absolutely not battery friendly compared to MT6737, also different resolutions make things worse, so real-life result may be quite close to the ones shown here.
also, K10000 Pro is huge, heavy and ugly As F*** (personal opinion).
No doubts the GT6000 is the real battery phone between the two, if we should stick to the meaning of the term, K1000 Pro may have the edge on performance/gaming/screen, but It’s too f***n huge! 😀

This is because Gretel GT6000 uses a fastest cpu and a 1280 * 720 pixel display. Oukitel uses a real slow cpu and a full hd display. That is, while GT6000 works on 921600 pixels, the K10000 works on 2073600.
