As it always happens, when a new big smartphone release hits, Zack – known on Youtube as JerryRigEverything, is around the corner with a special variant of the handset which he personally created.
This time around it’s about the much loved OnePlus 6T that gets the typical back glass skin removable treatment and turns into a naked beauty, at least for the nerds out there.

Zack’s video is pretty straight forward, he warms up the back with a heater, removes it with some pliers and – after showing us how to teardown part of the phone – shows us how to peel off the black skin. Beneath it, we of course find the transparent glass layer, which will now go back onto the phone with some clear double-sided tape.
We’ve to admit the final result is pretty stunning, some might say it’s even better than the one coming out of the factory.
