In the recent weeks, Samsung and Huawei have challenged each other with foldable smartphones during the MWC 2019 in Barcelona in which the Samsung Galaxy Fold and the Huawei Mate X were launched.
Shortly before the official announcements of these two foldable smartphones, Xiaomi has demonstrated a working prototype of the rumored Xiaomi Mi Flex (whose name is not yet confirmed), the first folding device from the Chinese company.
Today, some interesting details have been leaked regarding the price at which the device could be launched and the time window for the Chinese market.
According to some Chinese media, the Xiaomi Mi Flex should see the light in the second half of this year at a price of “just” 999 dollars. This price hypothesis would literally tear down market competition because we are talking about competing solutions that even exceed $2000.
