Mac Pro Mini Case Mod Anyone?

This miniature Mac Pro hard disk enclosure has just arrived as my very old G4 Mac Mini has seeming passed away, and is screaming to become the base for the ultimate Mac Mini/Net top case mod!

The case is made to mimic the the appearance of the Mac Pro complete with the brushed alloy finish, carry handles, mesh covered front and nicely machined power button.

Gizchina News of the week

The inside is designed to accommodate a 3.5 inch hard drive plus the guts for powering it and connecting to a PC, which doesn’t give us much room to play about with our case mod idea, but then again there isn’t all that much in a Mac Mini….

Time to get out the old putty knife and tape measure I think!

This sounds like an awesome case mode. are you going to move the guts of your G4 mac mini into this case, or use a mini-itx motherboard and build a osx86 hackintosh?

I’ve not actually decided if I’ll do it yet, but if I get the time and do carry it out I will post pics of it here.
