Apple seems to be getting worse and worse at keeping it’s new products tightly hidden away before launch. I have already produced my own hands on with a dummy iPad mini here, and now we are treated to some photos of a 3G iPad mini during manufacture.
These photos claim to be of a white iPad mini and the various components need to manufacture the 7.85 inch mini Apple tablet.
As you can see from the photos there are no real differences from what I have already shown in my own videos and photos apart from the fact that this iPad mini appears to have a black, possibly plastic rear casing rather than the alloy one we have seen in the past.
Along with these photos we are alos hearing rumours the the iPad mini will be launched in just under 2 weeks on 17th October and will be on sale ready for the busy Christmas shopping season.
Prices are expected to be very competitve for an Apple product with many beliving the iPad mini will go on sale from just $249 rising to $299, if this is the case I expect only 2 versions of the iPad mini to be available (Wi-Fi and 3G possibly LTE) with memory options limited to just 16GB (although 8GB could also be possible).
