China’s Windows 8 Tablet arrives to take on the Surface for just $320

The Microsoft Surface tablet is a pretty affordable device as it is, but if you don’t feel like splashing out so much cash on a Window’s 8 tablet you could take a look at the LiveFan F1 Windows 8 tablet from China at just $320!

Gizchina News of the week

The LiveFan F1 runs Windows 8 on an Atom Intel N2600 dual-core CPU, clocked at 1.6Ghz, there is also 2GB RAM as standard, 16GB of built-in memory and an Intel GMA3600 graphics card!

Navigating through the Metro UI on this low-cost Windows 8 tablet is via an LED 10.1 inch touch screen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, offering 5 point multi-touch.

Overall this Windows 8 tablet from LiveFan could actually rival high-end Android tablets currently on the market while offering as much functionality as a full desktop PC!

Looks really nice but 16gb they say is taken up by the OS, I wonder how it compares here. 1gb free? 🙂

Still looks really nice for the price.

The cheapest this tablet goes for online is $449 with free shipping @ DinoDirect, i think that’s the cheapest price any of us international buyers will get.

Hi I bought one, but I’m having problems getting support, they are all Chinese and have messed things up pretty bad, they told me to update the utility that controls the CPU fan, and now it doesn’t come on, it over wrote the old software, and I’ve been trying to get them to send me the older version but to no availe, so now it heats up so I don’t use it, I sent it back once and it took them two months to send another one also they promised to pay for shipping costs and I havnt received a dime. Do you know anyone that could tell me how to even how to, maybe in dos prompt, turn the fan on or make it come on automaticlly when the CPU gets hot. Thanks Rob
