Xiaomi M3 renderings show off thin bezel and huge screen!

Xiaomi M3 rumours are flooding in thick and fast, so it is of no surprise that purported renderings of the new phone have appeared online.

Before we go on, the chances of these renderings coming from Xiaomi and not being fan made are extremely low, as Xiaomi have proven to keep future phone designs hidden much more successfully than other manufacturers.

That said there are a few details which I personally like about the Xiaomi M3 designs, although the overall iPhone 5 style doesn’t really appeal to me.

First of all I love the huge 5-inch 1080 display which dominates the front of the phone. There is very little bezel and all navigation appears to take place on-screen as the chin and top edge of the phone are very minimal.

The “MI” logo on the rear of the phone appears to be made from a luminescent material, possibly giving the phone a cool glow in the dark motif!

Other than the details I’ve mentioned above, I’m not particularly drawn to this design, and hope the real Xiaomi M3 proves to be something a little thinner and less “Apple inspired”

The Xiaomi M3 is expected to be launched mid way through this year and is reportedly the first phone to make use of the Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core CPU. It is also rumoured to have a larger 5-inch 1080 screen, 3GB RAM, LTE support and a 12 mega-pixel camera while retaining the 1999 Yuan ($322) Xiaomi price point!

Will this 5″ phone be smaller than Sony’s Xperia ZL? It certainly looks like it when you take a look at the renders. But we’ll have to wait till we see the real deal!

Awesome specs! Yeah I agree lets hope this is not the real design, a fully square phone is a little uncomfortable to hold in my opinion.

Wow!. If the phone will look close to this, I’m going to buy it.I love this design, same idea as Jiayu G3. I don’t like at all “Samsung” style design but this looks great. Reminds me of the new Sony Xperia also. This even has the proper power button placement on top , not on side like Sony has. I suppose the USB is down, again the proper placement, not on side.

I think some company[ies] choose to put it on side due the fact people still use their phone while charging. Ok so what right? Well most games are designed with landscape mode, so it[usb] wont be a hindrance while holding the device. I for one would also like the head phone jack on the side. Heres a near perfect setting imagine a 4.7″ and above in portrait mode, on the left side just above the middle sits the usb port, on the right side also just above the mid is where the earphone jack goes. Adjacent to the earphonejack on the upper right is the volume rocker. Top part is the power. Although the headpone jack should be those special design ones so it wont pertrude to much. Hey why am i giving away free design

Love how Xiaomi try to keep the screen size down whilst maintaining big resolutions on their phones.

There’s the enthusiast category, the chic category, and one I also believe that would be in between the two.

The fact that even the Mi 2 packs such a punch, maintains image quality whilst being super 1 handed friendly makes it such an appealing phone!

Just hoping the Mi 3 will be a whole lot thinner than it’s predecessor.

As ty wrote, there is nothing between these renderings and the real phone (whenever it will be available). It is nothing but nice renderings.
