5-inch Konka spills it’s guts to reveal Amoled display and MT6589

Today should be called spy shot Saturday as more leaked photos of a prototype phone have arrived. This time we have a good external and internal look at an all new 5-inch Amoled, quad-core Konka phone.

Not to be confused with the more angular Konka K1 spotted at CES earlier this year, this new phone has a much rounder, and more comfortable looking design, and appears to be making its way on to China Mobile later this year.

Gizchina News of the week

From a design perspective we really like the look of the phone, which appears to be all screen with very little in the way bezel, and very minimalistic chin and speaker areas. In fact the size of the phone’s chin suggest the new Konka will feature on-screen navigation, something which I personally quite like.

Highlights of the mystery Konka device include a 5-inch Amoled display, quad-core MT6589 processor and Android 4.1. Judging by China Mobile logos we assure the new phone will only support TD-SCDMA meaning it will be a no go for international shoppers.

    The future is borderless.
Until then just narrow borders. Maybe for the first time by Samsung.
The borderless could be an opportunity to Apple or Nokia. If they are not already lost.
