Mystery quad-core Oppo R809T measures just 6.13mm


Oppo look ready to reclaim the title of world’s thinnest smartphone as reports claim they have a 6.13mm device ready to launch.

Sources close to Oppo have released this spy photos which shows the side profile of an all new quad-core phone. According to details attached to the photo this new phone will launch on April 26th and will measure just 6.13mm!

Previously Oppo made the worlds thinnest phone, the Oppo Find 3. Over the past 12 month though the Vivo Xplay and later the Alcatel Idol X have managed to go thinner with a 6.55mm phone. Oppo don’t seem to impressed and look ready to snatch back the title of world’s thinnest smartphone!

The Oppo R809T, as it is currently known is expected to be powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6589 CPU with 1GB RAM and a 4.5-inch 720p display. Pricing won’t be cheap though with rumours suggesting it could cost as much as 2500 Yuan ($403)!

    I don’t get it, seriously don’t understand what’s the fuss about such a thin phone, it’s great when it’s not chunky but that thin looks so fragile plus you have to be extra careful with it to much work

    Erhm. Sorry for that, but I think, the thin phone was the Oppo finder. The find 3 was the inspiraton for the look of the Jiayu G3.
