Umeox X5 5.6mm side by side with iPhone 5

Yesterday we had exclusive hands on photos with the soon to be worlds thinnest Android smartphone and now we have pictures of the Umeox X5 side by side with the iPhone 5 to give us a real idea of how it looks!

Seeing the 5.6mm Umeox X5 next to the iPhone 5 gives us a real sense of scale and shows just how thin the new Android phone is going to be once launched later this year. Not only that but these new photos also give us a better look at the overall design.

The tapered body of the Umeox X5 looks very business like and gives the impression of a high end design we would expect from one of the larger phone makers, rather than a new up and coming brand based in China.

Gizchina News of the week

Umeox X5 Vs iPhone5

It’s not clear in the photos but the X5 appears to have its micro USB port in the top of the phone position to what could be the power button. We assume a head-phone jack will be positioned in at the bottom.

The X5 is easily much thinner than the flagship iPhone, however it does appear to have a slightly larger display, possibly a 4.3-inch unit?

Will the Umeox X5 propel Umeox in to the prime time and have them compete against the likes of Apple? We can’t wait to find out!

I try to ensure they have what they are advertising before I allow them to do so. Who are you thinking of buying from and what do you want to buy, I’ll contact them for you if you like.

The Umeox X5 looks promising as it has a slight new design although it seems to have a inspiration from Find 5 but still the thickness (or thinness) is awesome. The renders shown here looks like the build quality is not that great but if it comes in a price segment of $130 to $160. The company will shine like anything. Again as some other companies, I hope Umeox is not going to make us wait and wait for the phone to get launched.
Eagerly waiting for some more updates and final version of this phone. And for the market in India too.

I will agree the thin part is sweet but that bezel is way too thick.
