Vivo X3, thin enough to slice and dice

The latest Vivo X3 leaked photos are possibly the most bizarre we have seen from any Chinese phone maker! The Vivo X3, thin enough to slice and dice vegetables?

The company behind Vivo originally started out as a manufacturer of Nintendo clones back in the 80’s but over the past few years have reinvented themselves as manufacturers of some of the best made and innovative Chinese smartphones to date! The Vivo X1 was is still one of the thinnest phones available after over 12 months on the market and the Xplay was the first 5.5-inch 1080 HD phone to go on sale.

Gizchina News of the week

vivo x3

Vivo’s next product is going to be another super slim handset. It’s expected to be called the Vivo X3 and could measure just 5.6mm thick (depending on the battery Vivo finally decided to use in the phone) but as the X3 will boast a 5-inch 1080 display and quad-core CPU will most certainly be the thinnest phone in it’s league.

Vivo should launch the X3 around the 22nd August, but as you can see by these photos they are already marketing the phone as a super thin, almost knife like phone.

That’s a bitter melon, its not a fruit its very bitter and you’re supposed to cook it with sweeter dishes to provide contrast.

You need to soak bitter gourd in brine first. Then you can cook it. It’s an acquired taste for sure but is used in Chinese and South Asian cooking.

It’s a new smart feature called smart slice. Sasmung will probably incorporate in their new Samsung Galaxy Razor under the name S Slice! On a side note, if this is the trend in smartphones, I believe kids can’t have them anymore.

This innovation could pave the way for smartphones ‘progressing’ to become an alternative to Swiss Army Knives and Leatherman multi tools 😉

Able to make thinner phone mean normal thick version will have better battery, I like it.

        +1
The next step would be to make phones with interchangeable back covers, thin and thick, the former with a small battery, the later with a bigger one.

      • August 15, 2013

        Doesn’t work that way.

So even manufacturers actually knew the idiocy of this thin fads…

I like the thinn designs manufacturers can realize these days.
I read that this phone will have a battery of around 2000 mAh, I hope this will be enough to get it through the day with the large screen.

I also wonder if this phone will have a normal 3,5mm ear jack plug and replacable battery, anybody knows?

    Regards!
