International JiaYu G4C on sale next week for $169.99

jiayu g4c android smartphone

JiaYu are releasing the quad-core JiaYu G4C next week with phones avaiable to international customers for just $169.99.

The JiaYu G4 remains an excellent phone, but since it launched last year technology updates have meant that JiaYu have been able to play with the specifications to reduce the cost while retaining the performance. The major difference between last years G4 is the change in processor. As the G4 and G4C uses a 1280 x 720 display the phone doesnt need the MT6589t chipset of the original, so JiaYu have replaced it with the equally powerful but more cost effective 1.3Ghz MT6582 processor.

Gizchina News of the week

The rest of the hardware is untouched including the 4.7-inch OGS display, 1GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel camera and dual SIM support.

JiaYu will releasing the first batch of JiaYu G4C in China next week and have already teamed up with SPEmall to satisfy the needs of internaitonal JiaYu fans. Stock of the G4C should be available from 5th March with the phone costing a reasonable $169.99.

Hello Andi, can you please explain the big difference between tis G4C and the G4T advance model, just a question of price? makes the GPU a real difference between both and which one is the best? For screens lesser than 5″ will the octacore cpu be a real improvement? Thanks for a answer

HI Gerald,of course not just a price difference, in my view, the G4T advance’s CPU is better than the G4C, and now both the 2 phones all use quad core processor, not octa core .

        Thank you Joko,
It seems like we have a new battery (2000) proposed for the same thikness of the 1850 model. That’s great !!

I still hesitate between the 6589T and 6582 models because I want to install the MIUI ROM.

Emm, in my view, i choose the 6589T. And both the 2 phones, you all can install MIUI ROM to them .

Realy ? I thought it was available only for the 6589T G4 version because Redmi has the same processor.
            Thanks for your answers 🙂

Oh yeah, at present the 6589T G4 can install the MIUI ROM, the 6582 G4C can not install it now, because it’s a new product ,hasn’t release the new firmware , but can be installed very quickly .

Thanks Andy ,I have already come across this but I doubt that it will work on this version of the Jiayu G4C…
I looking to change the Rom because my Jiayu is strugling just to run 2D games ( some times it as breaks and doesn’t reconigize that I have touched the screen in the games)
Can you ask Jiayu if they will lanch a Stock Rom or when will the Miui be available?
I would like to ask you too when do you think the Jiayu G4 Octa version (Internacional) will come out.

Thanks for replying Andy and for your help!
Really love this Website (It’s the first I open in the morning to see what news you bring to us)
