9.2-inch Snapdragon 410 Xiaomi tablet spotted on GFX Benchmark

A Redmi tablet is what these GFX Benchmarks look like to us. What do you make of the mystery Xiaomi tablet specs?

Xiaomi take a different approach with their entry level devices. The M2A for example was larger than the Mi2, and the Redmi Note is the large Xiaomi phone on the market. So Xiaomi aren’t shy to build a budget device that is larger than a flagship and that is exactly what we are seeing here.

Gizchina News of the week

These specs spotted over on the GFX Benchmarks database are of a new Xiaomi tablet named the Xiaomi 201811. Specs tell us the tablet has a large 9.2-inch 720p display, 64bit Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB RAM and 8 GB memory. So larger than the Xiaomi Mi Pad but that’s not all as the specs also tell of a single SIM tray and GPS!

The details might be simple from a test mule, but may also point at a low-cost tablet range from the 3rd largest phone maker, but would you be interested in a 9.2-inch 720p tablet?

Hope it’s fake or not a tablet, 720p for a big screen and 1GB of RAM is just too little now and not the tablet they need.

I agree. I would like to have at least same hardware as the actual mipad but with bigger screen.

Probably it isn’t a tablet at all, just new Redmi. 4.7 inch or maybe 5 inch max.

At 100$ or so I will take the resolution but 1gb RAM is just not enough specially when running MIUI.

If it’s packed with 2gb RAM for less than 150$ i’m in

The only explanation for these junkie specs is: Android One.

Having a low cost tablet with Google’s direct support means you get the latest Android software at a reasonable price.

Unlike with the latest Nexus hardware…
