It might be a little late for a Christmas gift, but fans of Meizu will be happy to learn the MX4 Pro has finally gone on sale internationally today.
Meizu have announced that they have limited stock of the flagship Meizu MX4 Pro for the international market and are releasing them for sale from today. Both the 16GB and 32GB version of the MX4 Pro are available to order but only in the grey colour option for now.
It’s not clear how many MX4 Pro will be available for international buyers, but we can guess that the supply won’t meet demand even though the price of the phone is higher than the Chinese RRP.

The 16GB Meizu MX4 Pro costs $579 while the 32GB costs $619. Phones come with free shipping, USB cable, power adapter and guarantee from the official Meizumart store.

OK – anyway i think Meizu is working hard on makeing support of all EU language by next firmware version + also update by support of the B20 on their phone for propper EU FDD support- maybe also support of the B17

too expensive, lg g3 goes for 370e the 32gb 3gb ram version, mx4 pro goes for 460e….
chinese phones are getting more expensive each day, mx4 pro isnt even that premium, it uses the 32bit exynos the alpha has,scores less than mx4/alpha ,and you can even buy the alpha for 380e….
anything over 400e is overkill for a device with limited support/warranty…especially with old tech
right now if you want a future proof device you have no options, we are in the middle of huge change, technology was stale for 2 years and now we are gonna have a huge powerspike, the first 64bit proccesors were low-end,and they dont even compare with snap 801(not even 800),and the exynos 64bit in note4 is locked cause its not available in n.a.
until snapdragon 810 and mediatek 6795 are out we arent gonna see any flagship device, right now we are getting flagship wannabe devices with huge prices even from china. apple had 64bit flagship cpu from A7 last year and we still dont,also google was late with android L.
sorry for the long post, but the bottomline is mx4 pro costs too much for what it offers.
I totally agree with you. It is overpriced for what it can offer (chip-set, warranty…) Chinese phones were good because of their performance/price ratio. This is even more expensive than some of the flagship devices sold in Europe. It doesn’t stand a chance. It is a pity because it looks like a good phone.
I agree with you in most of the things you said! (except the comparison with LG G3 as in my opinion MX4 pro is much better). I guess that’s why Andi had his doubts, on his review, when he compared it with standard MX4.
Any phone above the price of 400 is really not worth it for me… the technology runs so fast that it just ain’t worth it!
As for me, I’m really happy using my standard MX4 and I don’t regret it that I went for this instead of Pro, even though I would be a bit more spec-secured with that 1 extra GB of RAM. In real life though you don’t notice it, everything is runs just fine and games in high details without any problem. One of my favourites is the battery that lasts, with my usage, for 2.5 days!!! Totally different from my old Xperia S that I had to recharge it everyday and sometimes even every half a day!
Anyway, I believe Meizu will do good if they give the m1 mini out fast for both China and International sales… many people want smaller phones and this m1 looks attractive and it’s not bad speced with a killer price.
Had the mx4 on first batch,extremly overrated,especialy the flyme os wich is str8 stupid.
I couldn’t agree with you guys more, the appeal of the Chinese market is quality/ price/ performance ratio without that, why should I bother looking into China when I have them on my doorstep? The Chinese makers are doing well, maybe to the point they are getting too cocky and wanting the same prices as the big names in Europe. I think it is too greedy and a bit overstretching. We face enough price inflation through these so called vendors as it is already-

This basically what I can say PROGRESSION,
The first Chinese
phones were more or less copy cats that were released about between
6months to a year of the flag ship device they mimicked, but now they
are coming with top end specifications right from start without copying
others. Also the buyers for these phones purchased them due to Value for
phone, but then there is a limit beyond which a buyer feels that the
phone is not worth.
As I understand that for a top end
phone from China (xiaomi, Meizu, etc) the price should be below US$ 300
for it to be success. what people need now is
3 GB Rom with
say 32 GB space and addition of MMC, also a nice camera, and good
processor Snapdragon 805 or better, but the price is an important point,
but if the company charges beyond this price, people might stop and
wonder was to why they should pay so high when paying say 50$ more they
can get an LG Samsung, HTC or Iphone. Thus the Chinese companies have a
market due to their Value for money, but if they move away from it, they
would in turn compete in Samsung vs Apple war, but do they have the
resources to get into this war? They can easily have a lower segment
what we term as “Flagship killer” where they can rule and kill the
flagship phones from Apple, Samsung, Sony and LG and still make their
market share bigger. But if they change their market segment, there is
big chance that they lose their own market to another phone company from
China.
Jeeezzzzoooo! $600! Get an lg g3 and you get better support customer service and software! Meizu is getting greedy!

God! Chinese phones brought out to be a cheap (but not very reliable) alternative to the big brands. And now, we have to give the same money to buy a Meizu instead of an iPhone.
