Xiaomi release their Bluetooth Gamepad for 99 Yuan

It’s not much of a surprise today that Xiaomi’s gaming related launch is the official release of their Bluetooth Xiaomi gamepad.

Xiaomi introduced their gamepad late last year, but offered it as a beta product only to core Xiaomi fans for testing and evaluation. The gamepad looks to have been given the all clear by testers now, as it is on sale through the Xiaomi online store in China for 99 Yuan.

Gizchina News of the week

According the specifications the Xiaomi gamepad uses Bluetooth 3.0 to connect to your Xiaomi Android Box or TV and boasts 3 axis accelerometer, and similar design to the Xbox controller. There is also a built-in motor for a rumble feature, and the internal battery can last 80 hours of gameplay.

I’m hoping one of these will arrive in the post soon as I would love to give it whirl.

It should work with any device that supports Bluetooth gamepads. I have asekd to receive a couple and will test them on other devices.

Hopefully their Xiaomi Box accepts 2 gamepads connected at the same time, that would give me a reason to plug my Xiaomi Box again. Please, test it 🙂

It should have an usb connection for charging, and that technically can be connected to run on PC or Mac with the correct tools? (I am just speculating).

Is it rechargeable? If it is then they have on hell of a product, probably their best yet.

    • January 21, 2015

An internal battery would suggest it is. 🙂
