Vernee are an all new brand with an all new phone named the Vernee Apollo boasting a Helio X20 chipset and 21 mega-pixel rear camera.

Vernee is a new brand owned by a well established smartphone OEM. According to the Vernee team it’s highly likely that you have already owned a phone built in their factory, and that their decision to build their own brand is to ensure quality phones at cut down prices.

Taking a look at the Vernee.cc website the company has at least 3 phones planned to launch in the coming weeks. The Thor will be their entry-level device, there is an unknown ‘new product’, and the flagship Apollo.

i thought babco already confirmed that X20 doesn’t support 6GB ram

anyway, specs seem pretty unrealistic to me.

The P20 does, the X20 does not. At least in it’s current configuration, maybe they have a new version of the X20 launching that does support it because this is not the only leak that has mentioned that.

Kind of interesting. Apollo has taken quite a few design inspiration from the Huawei Mate series though.

Like Apple it seems they were heavily inspired by HTC designs.

We are starting to see a lot of X20 leaks now.

Usual fraud is usual: unknown oem, a phone with a unbelievable specs (so unbelievable they often is full of mistakes) that no one has ever seen in flesh, a render that is a collage of existing phones, and a pre-selling time so long you’ll never see the end of it…

You must be really tired considering that 1440p screens have been around for 2 years and it won’t take that long before we get to 16k.

I looked very similar to the Mate 8 to me but then I figured out the top and bottom chins are bigger (talking ratios here) … I do hope for them to be the real deal. And I do like 2K (yeah complain Hanson, but I do like then crisp) so if if Andi is after any believable source and this comes with a decent battery I’ll have to start saving my money. 🙂

This one is 2nd in trending, I guess there is genuine interest for a full speced cheap phone, and now that Mi5 is in a rather dubious situation it is perfect timing for others to take advantage as heavy players run so spensive if Zopo and Doogee and this all come with a nice specs combo and REASONABLE ROM to match then it could be a nice show to watch !!!

Let the hunger…. I mean ROM games beging !!!

I was just wondering about the bandwidth of the memory. Is there so much onboard so that you can record 4K video without the lagging problems you get with cards? Might make for a killer movie making machine.
