New 360 N4 phone will take just 5 minutes to charge 50%

360’s new N4 Android smartphone will be another phone that features super fast charging capabilities.

On May 9th 360 will be officially releasing the new 360 N4 Android smartphone and one of its major selling points will be a new rapid charge technology.

The full details of the charging tech haven’t been officially released but according to a GIF by the company it could take just 5 minutes to charge the battery from 0-50%. Leaked details also show that the charger in the N4 will be a (5V/2A, 9V/1.5A, 12V/1.2A)15W fast charger and that the battery in the phone will be a 3000mAh unit.

Other details of the 360 N4 are thought to be a 5.5-inch FHD display, 2.5D panel, Helio X20 chipset, 4GB RAM, 32GB memory, 8 mega-pixel front camera, 13 mega-pixel rear and a rear mounted touch fingerprint scanner.

The phone will be launched in China first and we might also see a release in India later in the year too.

    5v/2a is what id go for always best to avoid higher volts, higher amps are better so the phone doesnt have to do all the voltage conversions which tends to make the phone really hot annnd this is x20 so this phone wont be out till 2030 -_-

    Sounds sketchy. Even VOOC doesn’t claim to be that quick.

      Lol, trust me it’s not. Batteries would be able to charge even faster if temperatures were controlled. The main reason it takes long for these batteries to charge is because of high temperatures, manufacturers control this by limiting ampage as they have no way too cool batteries in phones.

        I know the mechanics behind it, but for them to be able to achieve this they need a way to deal with that heat. That much heat in a small compartment is a recipe for disaster

    i think that faster than and hour charge time on actual battery chemestries scares me. i fell ok with my 80 minutes 0-100% 3500mah performance on my phone but sometines i even get scared that it does it so fast hahahaha… if that was graphene batteries we were talking about yes a 15 minutes full time charge would be something my ming could wrap around
