Xiaomi’s smart home Mi Cube now on pre-sale

Remember the smart home cube that could control a lot of your home gadgets that Xiaomi launched a while back?

Well, the device is now on pre-sale for a price of just $17.99. As we’d mentioned back at its launch, the Mi Cube “is a small pastel coloured cube measuring only 45mm x 45mm x 45mm, but has the guts to control your Xiaomi TV, lamp, air purifiers, home cameras and other select products.”

It’s quite easy (and novel) to operate also. Say for example you want to turn off your air conditioner, depending on how you’ve set it up, you’ll only have to flip over the Mi Cube and bam, your AC’s off. The same for the remaining 5 edges of the gadget.

Gizchina News of the week

The Mi Cube, when bought from here, will start shipping June 14th onwards. Are you planning to get one? Also check out other deals here.

            That’s exactly what meant.
You launch products and start shipping months later just like Elephone.

The usual version? You mean the older version right?

Oh wait… what’s the difference between the two versions?
Same hardware and only different software?
