Bluboo Maya Max coming into the global presales with the $159.99 price tag

Second device from the Maya lineup will enter the presale period soon and the company is pretty convinced that the Bluboo Maya Max will be successful thanks to very good price/perfromance ratio. Theoretically that can be true, because the official $159.99 presale price tag is looking quite alright with the presented specs.

So what are we getting for such price ? Bluboo Maya Max is equipped with the octa-core MT6750 processor clocked at 1,5 Ghz and supported by the Mali-T860 GPU, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage. The main camera has a 13 Mpix resolution thanks to the Sony IMX214 sensor and supporting the fast focus feature. Front camera is an 8 Mpix shooter and Bluboo Maya Max is no slouch with battery capacity either, the 4200 mAh with fast charge support is promising. As the OS nothing out of the ordinary, staying up to date with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Gizchina News of the week

From the extra features we have to mention the dual SIM support, OTG and the USB Type-C connector and of course the 6-inch JDI display with the HD resolution and the OGS technology supporting up to 10 fingers and reacting even to the gloved or wet fingers.

Bluboo also announced that even though the orginal retail price is set at $179.99, for the presale period it should be lowered to $159.99. And with some flash sale events during the period it;s quite possible that it will drop even lower. Bluboo Maya Max is expected to hit the presales during August so probably won’t be a long wait.

It’s ok, but don’t hold your breath: so far bluboo didn’t deliver the quality you would expect and the software support neither, as you may already know… Maybe this one could be a change, but I wouldn’t bet on it looking at what they did with their so called flagship xtouch… Just saying, that one used the same camera sensor as maya max, but it definitely sucks

maya premium is an eye catcher tho…

Spec-wise, probably… But I ain’t getting excited until reviews and users says it’s as good as it sounds 😀

Anyone picking THIS or the standard maya variant over the ‘PREMIUM’ Version … can speak for themselves.
    its utter stupidity

      it’s utterly stupid*

        Really ? I don’t see why.
I want a 6 inch phone. So just with that the other versions don’t qualify for me.
But the rest of the specs also seems a step better. Better proc, much better GPU, 3GB ram instead of 2GB, and 32 GB instead of 16 …

        I don’t get your comment.
The specs are clearly superior to maya / maya premium ( like the price though). So why would it be utterly stupid ? Not saying this phone is the best choice, just that I don’t see something obvious like you seem to.

The phone looks interesting on paper. But Bluboo doesn’t have even 1 good phone so far… It’s risky to buy it.
