OnePlus 3 getting Android 7.0 this month

It’s pretty common for us all to have to wait to get the latest version of Android on our phones, but those of us with a OP3 might not have to wait quite so long.

OnePlus have recently confirmed that they will be releasing a beta version of their Android 7.0 update later this month. The news comes from Engadget who tells readers that OnePlus’s head of software had confirmed the roll out.

If you’re not one for wanting to run buggy Beta software on your phone though there should only be a slightly longer wait to get the final build on your phone, with the company hoping to have a full OTA updates rolling out before the end of 2016.

OnePlus 2 users are also in luck as they will also receive an update (although no time frame has been offered) we’re not sure what’s going to happen with the OPX at this time.
