China’s OPPO, riding high on the success of the R9s, have teamed up with Malaysian star Min Chen to launch a special edition of the phone in Malaysia.
The special edition OPPO R9s comes with Min Chen’s autograph on the rear… of course, laser-engraved. Besides, the rather striking red colour of the phone makes it stand apart from the ‘standard’ R9s.

Besides that, the special edition OPPO R9s will have four Min Chen postcards, a mini Min Chen human-standee, and a cartoon-style Min Chen phone cover inside the box. Moreover, the entire phone will be Min Chen themed — including ringtones, wallpapers, and more.
The phone will be made available from Lazada at RM1,798 ($403).
