Xiaomi sold 6.3 million units this March, plans to sell 70 million by the end of 2017!

Things are getting better for Xiaomi – according to recent information from well known analyst (and insider) @Kevin Wang diary who confirmed that the Chinese company managed to sell more than 6.3 million smartphones last month (March).

According to the same info, Xiaomi has high hopes for the current year and focuses on further improving its business via small and efficient restructuring procedures. Xiaomi plans to focus on 3 key points this year:

  • Innovation: the company plans to work on core technologies in order to provide breakthrough tech to its users
  • Quality: they will further improve the quality of their products
  • Delivery: this is not easy to deal with, since supply issues has been affecting the Chinese company for quite sometime now.

According to the latest rumors however things have improved and perhaps their goal for 70 million units sold by the end of the year could be met. In case you don’t remember, IDC reported that Xiaomi managed to ship only 41.5 million phones last year, a 36% reduction from 2015’s 64.8 million units.

Do you think they can meet their goal for 2017?
