If you have just finished watching the video hands-on of the Doogee Mix, then sit back and take a look at the equally attractive Bluboo S1!
It’s not only Doogee who are launching new bezel-free phones at the Global Sources fair, rivals Bluboo also have their own Mi Mix clone on display.
Bluboo has also been inspired by the Xiaomi Mi Mix and created a phone with a bezel-free design around most of the display leaving just enough room for a fingerprint scanner/home button on the chin.
The rear of the Bluboo receives dual cameras like the Doogee Mix however, the specs are slightly lower with the main camera rated at 13 megapixels and the secondary camera being just 2 megapixels.

Overall specs are slightly off those of the Doogee Mix with the most notable differences being the camera hardware, the option of only 4GB RAM, Helio P20 chipset and slightly smaller battery.
Looking at both bezel-free smartphones would you choose the Doogee or the Bluboo?

Mi Mix has changed the market. Samsung Galaxy S8 and the LG G6 were the first follow its design by reducing the bezels and I think all other companies will realise that they need to do the same in order to compete. Its just sad seeing phones like the google pixel being released, horrendous bezels on that thing.
Aquos crystal was the first, and no Glory, any one seems remember that

Good question, but then again, have you EVER tried to communicate with Bluboo???
Try it sometime, it’s virtually impossible. As a blogger and reviewer that focuses solely on Chinese phones and Budgetgadgets (the point of my blog: The big brands are using you as a milk cow!!!). Anyway, in that position I have contacts with many companies and media and marketing departments of brands like Nomu, Doogee, Elefone, Gretel, Geotel, Alcatel and so on.. Bluboo however does not communicate whatsoever. No reply on emails, messenger messages, Skype you name it.
So yeah, as a big rugged phone fan (a necessity with four little kids LOL) I was keeping a look out for the R1 too. I have mailed them asking for news on the device… nothing
I have asked them if they would willing to let us do a hands on… Nothing
Then I wrote to them, telling them I understand if you want to work on it without spilling the beans, so dear Bluboo, could you tell me WHEN news or facts about the R1 will be available… Nothing…
The latest trial was me asking if they at least could send me confirmation that they received my mails or communications… Well, I think you all can imagine what their answer was:
Yes… Another round of deafening silence…
I for one am completely done with Bluboo all together. Not because I’m cross about their behaviour. After all I don’t consider myself to be the center of the universe. The real reason why I won’t give Bluboo a second look for the time being is this:
If a company that is trying to become great (or at least that claims this goal) is given the chance to have their products showcased in a part of the world where 99.9% of the population never ever even heard their name, and it refuses, and ignores those willing to put effort in for them, it’s not a company that has the eyes on the future. Which makes it less interesting for us as reviewers. Plus if a company obviously doesn’t want their products to be tested and reviewed by independent journalists, let’s be honest people… doesn’t that tell you ALL you need to know about their devices?
I’m looking forward to getting my hands on the Doogee Mix. I appreciate the way Doogee has turned a concept phone ( something even admitted by Mi btw, their Mix WAS ORIGINALLY made as a concept phone) into a practical and fascinating device that is suitable for daily use. Just like one would expect.
Other than that, Doogee has always taken a lot of time to answer any media questions, provide us with news on a regular basis and are a pleasure to work with. I’m sure if I, as a writer notice this difference in treatment, so will the paying customer.

I was about to order Doogee Mix but they don’t have TDD LTE band 40 and so is Bluboo. Indians can’t purchase these phones. So no use to vast Indians.

Pues por caracteristicas pinta bien , aun que yo soy poseedor de un DOOGEE MIX y encantado con este movil todo va perfecto , y como mi expereincia con los moviles Doogee son muy buenas me decante por este modelo y segun 15 dias de uso lo recomiendo todo perfecto 4g en todo momento , creo yo que el Doogee para mi es mejor movil fg
