Meizu X2 renders hint towards a secondary display on the back with a unique design

The alleged renders of the Meizu X2 have been spotted at the Chinese patent office. Meizu has been long known to bring to the table unusual designs. Hence it is not surprising that an unnamed Meizu device has been spotted in the patent office. And according to a previous report, this might be the Meizu X2.

Gizchina News of the week

The renders that have leaked show a sleek device with a somewhat curved display on the front. The fingerprint scanner lies on the lower chin on the front whereas the secondary camera lies on the top chin, in the middle. What’s interesting is the rear of the device. The rear features a single camera sensor flanked by two LED flash. Right below the camera setup lies a circular secondary display. If you remember, Meizu managed to pull off the secondary display on their Pro7 and Pro 7 Plus smartphones and they probably will, on this device too. The secondary display on this phone might not be as functional as the on Pro 7 smartphones as the Meizu X2 is supposed to be a mid-range device commissioned under their Blue Charm initiative.

Other than this, the renders show a USB Type-C port flanked by two grills, one of which might be the mic and the other, the speaker. There is no 3.5mm jack. For more news, watch this space!
