Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM lands in Germany

Nokia 8 Oreo

after it was launched in Finland about a week ago, HMD Germany has finally added the second variant to the Nokia 8, the Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM. The new version is currently only available in Germany, but it is expected to roll out to “select markets,” in few months time if HMD Global must achieve its 10 million sales forecast. Nokia fans in the US may have to wait for the arrival of a new flagship Nokia phone, as it has no plan of launching the device in the US. Major OEM now tends to release special edition Smartphones in some select market, so we are particularly not surprised to see the Nokia 8 with 6GB materialize.

Available only in Polished Blue color, the Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM is available on Amazon and Otto where it is currently offered for as low as €669 with free delivery and installment payment on Otto.

Otto is currently offering the device on monthly installments between €18.60 ( for the 48-month plan) and €230.20 (3-month plan), and of course with the usual 24 months warranty and a 1-year extension for €40.

Gizchina News of the week

While the device will get shipped to you right away if you chose to buy from Amazon retailers, you would, however, have to wait for “up to three weeks”. before it gets to your destination if you buy from Otto.

It’s worth noting that the Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM and the base Nokia 8 are virtually the same safe for the difference in RAM size. It is powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset, dual rear 13 MP cameras with Carl Zeiss optics and runs Android Nougat out of the box.HMD Global has confirmed all its Android line up including the Nokia 8 will be getting Oreo update before the year ends.
