As one of China’s largest dash cam manufacturers, AZDOME has been investing a lot into R&D and production of new devices, allowing them to now have technology and products that are industry-leading. Apparently, AZDOME has finally managed to make real their previous concept of a mirror camera as well, it’ll be called AZDOME HS790B and it’ll be the world’s first mirror camera. Let’s learn more about it!
The AZDOME HS790B will be equipped with two 1080p cameras sporting Sony image sensors. As we can see in the image above, the product adopts a huge screen, which will help us see more details at higher resolution. AZDOME say they’re taking inspiration from smartphone’s “all-screen” trend and used it on their next dash cam, definitely a first for the category.

The HS790B is different from the traditional dash cam as it’s aimed at replacing the traditional optical rearview mirror, providing the driver a clearer picture at a wider angle. The large display will indeed allow you to have more than three times the viewing angle, it’ll be anti-glare, sport night vision and work fine in rainy or foggy weather.
