Moto X4 launched in India for Rs.20,999


The Moto X4 has finally been launched in India, two months after it was launched in the U.S. The smartphone will be exclusively available via Flipkart starting 11:59 PM tonight!

Design and Specifications

The Moto X4 is an amalgamation of metal and glass, with metal in the middle and glass on the front and the back. It follows a design principle similar to Motorola’s phones for 2017. The back has the signature camera bump that was seen on all the Moto smartphones this year. The fingerprint scanner lies on the bottom bezel on the front. The phone is IP68 certified, meaning, it will withstand damage by water and dust. The X4 retains the 3.5mm jack unlike its flagship siblings. It weighs 163 grams and measures 148.4 x 73.5 x 8mm. It is available in two colour variants, Super Black and Sterling Blue.

The Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p and Gorilla Glass on top. Under the hood lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB ROM respectively which is expandable via microSD card. On the back lies a dual camera setup of a 12MP f/2.0 and an 8MP f/2.2 sensors coupled with dual LED flash. The front features a 16MP f/2.0 snapper with LED flash. It is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery with support for Turbo Charge. The Moto X4 will run Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box. On the connectivity side, the it has the usual options with the added benefit of pairing multiple Bluetooth devices at one time thanks to Bluetooth 5.0.

Pricing

The 3GB/32GB variant will retail for 20,999 INR, while the 4GB/64GB variant will retail for 22,999 INR. Apart from Flipkart, the X4 will also be available via Moto Hub stores starting November 13th 11:59 PM. Flipkart is offering multiple deals on this phone with lucrative exchange and discount offers, with more reduction in price if the device exchanged is an old Moto phone.
