In October, Huawei released another promising smartphone under their Honor sub-branding portfolio, the Honor 7X. At that time the device was available in only three color options, Black, Blue and Gold. Just today the Chinese behemoth announced the arrival of a new Flame Red color option for the Honor 7X.
This seems to be the week of Red, after OnePlus also teasing its new Lava Red colored OnePlus 5T for the Chinese market. But anyway, in what concerns to the Honor 7X the new color option will start sales from December 5, next week.
Huawei decided to offer the Red colored phone for the same amount of its other color options, 1,299 Yuan ($197) for the 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, 1,699 Yuan ($258) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB unit and 1,999 Yuan ($303) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.
In a specs recap, the Honor 7X brings a 5.93-inch screen with 2160x1080p resolution, in-house made Kirin 659, 4GB of RAM along three storage variations (32GB/64GB/128GB). Camera wise the handset packs a 16MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the rear and a 8MP front facing snapper. Keeping all the lights on we have a 3,340mAh battery.
For the moment it remains unknown if the company will also bring this new Red colored Honor 7X for the other markets or will keep it as exclusive homeland version. Worth nothing to mention that Huawei also has an event scheduled for December 5 in India, where they will officially launch the Honor 7X in the world’s second smartphone market.
