After two weeks of teasers, OnePlus finally decided to reveal the product inside the mysterious box which had a different “textured” feeling according to the people who felt the phone inside, that textured product was, in fact, a Sandstone OnePlus 5T.
Today the Chinese manufacturer made official the new Sandstone White variant of their latest flagship. The variant comes especially for the company fans who have been missing the old good days of the original Sandstone OnePlus smartphone, while also come to differ bringing a unique feeling in comparison with the competition offers.
The new Sandstone White OnePlus 5T comes with a look that resembles the Star Wars edition of the smartphone. In order to achieve the Sandstone feeling the company used a texturized tint application on the rear which successfully” mimics the feeling.
As expected before this Sandstone OnePlus 5T arrives with the high-end specifications: Snapdragon 835 paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage. Curiously the price will be $560, nearly the same of the standard black variant.
The new color may also resemble the custom “Panda” model of the Pixel 2 XL which also brings the white back and black front with a different color for the button, while Google chooses orange, OnePlus took the Red Color. However, the texturized feeling in the back is something that only the Chinese company is offering.
