Elephone U Pro Shows Off Impressive 18:9 Curved Display (Video)

Elephone U Pro

Elephone just released some really intriguing footage of the upcoming Elephone U (and U Pro) over on Youtube. In the video we indeed have a closer look at the smartphone’s previously rumored curved display; let’s check it out!

We believe you’ll all agree with us that the display does look quite appealing. From past press releases we know it’s 5.99-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio and it’s covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5, as we can see the viewing angles are considerably good as well.

Then we have the curves along the edges which are a love or hate topic and come down to personal preferences, but if you dig them, then Elephone seem to have done a pretty good job.

Overall the smartphone does look a lot like a Samsung S8, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. We may also remind you that the Elephone U Pro is set to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 CPU coupled with a whopping 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, making it a super interesting mid-range option – if it were to come with a mid-range price tag.

On the Elephone U Pro we’ll also find a dual 13MP setup powered by Arcsoft image algorithms to create a nice bokeh effect and increase the overall photo quality, an USB Type-C port (we can see in the video) with QC3.0 fast charging support, wireless charging, NFC support and Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
