For some time now, smartphone users have been able to complete mobile payment without a card so long as the device has NFC or Samsungs patented MST. Now, wearables such as smartwatches and fitness trackers can also be used to complete mobile payment functions. Today, Huami Technology, a Xiaomi ecosystem company released an update notice that the AMAZFIT smartwatch 2 will be compatible with cashless payments.

Prior to this, Huami AMAZFIT Mickey bracelet already supports this function and can be used to complete payments without a mobile phone. According to Huang Miao, founder, and CEO of Huami Technology, Ali Baba implanted Alipay in the Hamam AMAZFIT Mickey bracelet, through which the Alipay payment code can be used to complete payments. Like Huami AMAZFIT Mickey bracelet, the Huami AMAZFIT SmartWatch 2 can also use Alipay payment code separately. However, users will have to wait for official release of the updates.
