The Vivo X21i was listed on one of China’s biggest carrier, China Telecom revealing its release date, pricing and all of its specifications. There’s absolutely nothing left to imagination now, thanks to earlier listings on TENAA and Geekbench. Along with new renders, the website has also listed the colour variants of the upcoming smartphone.
The Vivo X21i is another smartphone in the line of the 2018 X-series smartphones. The X21i will sport a 6.28-inch notched display with an FHD+ (1080 x 2280p) display up front. Under the hood will lie the 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor manufactured under the 12nm process coupled with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU for handling graphics. The memory requirements will be taken care by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, with room for expansion up to 256GB. The camera department is where the X21i shines. It features a dual camera setup of 12MP+5MP snappers on the back while the front is adorned by a 24MP snapper. A 3170mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.0 on top will be powering the smartphone.

Dimensionally the phone measures 154.37 x 74.98 x 6.99 mm and weighs 159g. It resembles the X21 in almost all the design aspects. A notch up front on the display, dual camera setup on the back, thin profile from the side and fingerprint scanner on the back. A 3.5mm jack is also present. Other connectivity options might be similar to the X21 including Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC and GSM bands. The X21i will be available in Ruby Red, Aurora White and Polar Night Black. Its retail price will be around ¥2698 (~$426), and it will be released on the 19th of May in China. There is no confirmation whether this phone will be China exclusive or will it hit other international markets. Vivo might unveil it on the 29th of May in India alongside the Vivo X21 UD.
