Apple Store to open in Bangkok soon; will be first in Thailand


Good news for Apple fans living in Thailand as Apple has announced that they are going to set a retail store in Thailand and will be opened by next month in Bangkok. The new retail shop is an astonishing piece of work by architects.

The new Apple Store is part of Iconsiam complex on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Moreover, the Iconsiam also has a 3,000-seat auditorium, residential buildings, a fitness center, amusement park, two shopping malls and a department store.
The Iconsiam is expected to be inaugurated on 9th of November but the Apple store is going to open on the very next day at 10 am local time i.e. on 10th November.
The Apple Store on its website shares a message that Apple Iconsiam Chao Phraya River is going to be the centre for people to exchange ideas, learn and create something. They also added that the new retail store is a place to be inspired and spark creative ideas for the people in the community as well.

Coming to its aesthetic appearance, the new Apple Store sports a similar impression to that of Michigan Avenue Apple Store opened a couple of years ago in 2016. The Michigan store is 20,000-square-feet big and most of the part is underground level. Speaking of the Chicago store design it posses a superb entrance with an ingenious roof which allows the customers to walk in shade.

However, in Thailand, the share of iOS is around 14.3% comparatively to that of Android which has 85.3% more or less. Nonetheless, in terms of popularity, Apple ranks second just after Samsung.
