I heard that there are many delicious and fun things to do.” The photo of Xiaomi’s new headquarters taken by Lu Weibing shows that several buildings in the Xiaomi Science and Technology Park are already brightly lit. In other words, the company will soon move to its new permanent complex.
From the reports, Xiaomi Science and Technology Park is located in Shangdi, Haidian District, Beijing (west of Xisanqi Bridge, close to Baidu, Lenovo and other industrial parks), covering an area of 210,000 square meters. Xiaomi’s new headquarters has 8 buildings and the company put in about 2 billion yuan ($291 million).
On July 23, 2015, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun said on Weibo “Xiaomi has been in Beijing for five years, like North drift. First of all, we were at Yingu Building, followed by Rolling Stone Building, Hongyuan Building, and then moved to Colorful City. We rented four buildings around the colorful city and moved almost once a year! In Beijing, we will have a home of our own soon.
