Earlier this month, Oppo launched a new color variant of A9 2020 dubbed Gradient White Teal in India. The smartphone maker has now added yet another color variant to the lineup. This time we’re looking at the Oppo A9 2020 Vanilla Mint color variant. The brand announced the availability of the new variant on its official Twitter account. Unlike the previous color variant, the new addition only comes in a single variant featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard memory. The internal hardware remains the same and so does the price tag. The all-new variant is up for grabs for INR 19,990 (roughly $278).

For those who’re unaware, the smartphone was launched way back in September with a 48MP rear camera and 5000mAh battery capacity. The Vanilla Mint color can be purchased from both online as well as offline retailers starting from today itself. Apart from these two new additions, the device also comes in Marine Green and Space Purple. To recall, Oppo A9 2020 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display featuring a waterdrop notch housing front selfie camera. Inside the hood, you will find the Snapdragon 665 chipset along with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, there is a quad-camera module featuring a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP monochrome sensor. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16MP front snapper housed inside the notch. All of these are fueled by a 5,000mAh battery packed inside. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie based on ColorOS 6.1 custom skin. Other specifications include Bluetooth 5.0, Dolby Atmos, Widevine L1 certification, reverse charging and 4G VoLTE.
In other news, Oppo is also working on its next flagship device dubbed Reno 3 Pro 5G. The smartphone recently got leaked revealing design thanks to the surfaced render images. With a thickness of 7.7mm, it might be a thinnest dual-mode 5G phone in the price segment.
