Motorola Razr Foldable Smartphone Delivery Date Now Postponed to February 18


Motorola RAZR 2 Pre-Orders Kick Off on January 26th

Back in November 2019, Motorola forayed into the foldable smartphone market with its Motorola Razr smartphone. The flagship smartphone makes use of clamshell foldable mechanism making it the first one to do so. Last week, the smartphone maker announced the schedule for the pre-order as well as the delivery date. The company has now updated the delivery schedule for the device. Earlier the company was supposed to start delivering from February 6.

Motorola Razr to Start Shipping from February 18

As per the new updated schedule, the shipping date has now slipped back to February 18. Motorola has not revealed the reason behind the sudden change in the delivery date. Furthermore, the smartphone maker has not released an official statement regarding the same. We can only assume that the pre-order campaign might have received immense response from the consumer causing the unavoidable delay.

With that said, we are just speculating so it should be taken with a pinch of salt. It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that the device has witnessed a sudden delay. You can now find the update delivery date on the company’s official website as well as on Verizon website.

Coming to the specifications, the smartphone comes with a primary 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 2142 × 876 pixels. There is a 2.7-inch secondary display located on the outside. There is a large bezel under the display where the fingerprint sensor is located. Under the hood, the device runs on Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Backed by 2510mAh battery, the device runs on the Android 9 Pie operating system.     I loved my folding Razor back in the day. This phone looks very nice and would love to have one but I’m not going to pay $1500.00 bucks just for a phone nor would I pay $1200.00 or $900.00. I will just wait a few years till the price comes down to the GDP level where the rest of us our.
