There is a new clarification about the release date of the MIUI 12.5 user interface, which was announced by Jin Fan, Xiaomi‘s director of new products and head of public relations for MIUI.
So, the open beta testing of MIUI 12.5 will start in early January, while the developers will quickly collect user feedback and release weekly firmware updates with fixes and new features. As for the stable global version of the firmware, it should be released only in March next year.
According to Jin Fan, MIUI 12.5 is a complete new version of the user interface. He added that MIUI development team has recently undergone a reorganization and is significantly stronger.
According to reports, MIUI 12.5 may bring a new mode of collaboration between smartphones and computers, further improve animation and enhance the security of personal data.
Despite the release of MIUI 12.5, the company also plans to release MIUI 13 user interface next year, which will in particular be optimized for smartphones with folding screens.

First leak video of MIUI 13 appears online
