iPhone 13 series with 1TB storage option gets a launch date

According to previous reports, Apple will hold an autumn new product launch conference in September following its regular practice. This event is one of the most important conference for the Spring Festival Gala in the science and technology industry. reports from Daniel Ives reveals an investor report which shows that Apple will release the iPhone 13 series in the third week of September. Furthermore, the report shows that the high-end Pro models will have up to 1TB of storage option. Apple’s important new product launch usually holds on a Tuesday. There is only one Tuesday in the third week of September. This means that the iPhone 13 launch event will probably hold on September 14th.

The iPhone 13 series will still have four models, namely the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The previous mini version, which has been very sluggish in sales, has not been directly cut. It is worth noting that the iPhone 13 will be using a smaller notch design. This is the first time in four years that Apple will be editing the notch design. Since the notch design’s introduction with the iPhone X back in 2017, every flagship iPhone has used this design.

The smart refresh rate will ensure that the refresh rate of the screen can automatically switch between 1-120Hz depending on the usage of the screen. This will be the first time that the iPhone will have a screen refresh rate above 60Hz. The smart refresh rate will ultimately bring a more power-saving effect for the new iPhones. There have been reports that this flagship series will support both Face ID and Touch ID dual unlocking schemes. However, it appears that this series will only use the Face ID unlocking like older models. This series will also significantly upgrade the camera department.

Apple will use a new A15 Bionic chip for this flagship. This chip will use TSMC’s 5nm manufacturing process. Apple iPhone 13 will also upgrade the battery capacity of the entire series. The iPhone 13 Pro Max will use a 4352 mAh battery, which is nearly 700 mAh more than the 3687 mAh of the 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 13 will use a 3095 mAh battery while the iPhone 13 mini has a 2406 mAh battery.
