Windows 11

Microsoft will make it easier for you to tell if your PC or laptop can run Windows 11, in case you own a laptop or desktop running Windows 10.

XDA Developers reports that the Windows PC Health App is being offered once again for users interested in Windows 11, with the application being available to any user who wishes to use it.

What Does the Microsoft PC Health App Do?

Windows 11

For those unaware, Microsoft released a previous version of this app to members of its Windows Insider program, before removing it. The app comes in three versions, one for 32-bit Windows PC and ARM-based laptops, one for 64-bit Windows PCs and one for Windows 10 for S Mode.

It is a rather interesting application that lets you know if your Windows 10 device has a processor, graphics card and other components compatible with the Windows 11 update.

Users can force the laptop to run Windows 11 by installing it via an ISO file, with the only requirement being a 64-bit CPU with a processor with at least 1GHz clock speed and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

In other Windows 11 news, Honor is soon going to launch the MagicBook V 14, which according to the company will be the first laptop to run Windows 11 out of the box. This particular bit of news comes as Honor announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft.

Details in relation to the Honor-Microsoft partnership remain scarce since the press release does not reveal a lot. The company states that both corporations will to ā€˜develop ground-breaking AI and end devices and create forward-looking technology strategiesā€™.

The announcement fails to reveal any specifications of the laptop, but going by the name we can tell that this new laptop will be the first of Honorā€™s V series of laptops and the display will be 14-inches in size.

Certain rumours in relation to the product hint at chances of dual 5MP front-facing cameras, a first for laptops, but, for the complete features and pricing, it seems that we will have to wait.

By launching the MagicBook beforehand, the company can now claim that it has launched the first laptop to run Windows 11 out of the box, a talking point that is quite useful for the company.

Windows 11 is launching soon and as such we will see a couple of laptops launch in and around this time, all of which will run the new version of Windows out of the box, signalling changing times for Windows 10.
