Huawei nova 10 series with SD778G & SD7 Gen1 SoCs gets a launch date

Huawei’s next-generation nova series mobile phones are coming. There are reports that the Huawei nova 10 series will use the same chip as the nova 9 series. However, there will also be a new chip option. According to recent reports out of China, claims that the Huawei nova 10 series should be a mix of the Snapdragon 778G and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. There may also be a special phone case and the speculations so far reveal that this device will arrive in June this year.

As of now, the company can not use the Dimensity chip most likely because it has only 5G options. The software and camera module tuning of the Huawei nova 10 series is better this time.

The Huawei nova 9 Pro series was released last year. It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G chip, supports 100W Huawei super fast charge, and has a battery capacity of 4000 mAh. According to the company, this smartphone can get a full charge in just 20 minutes. In terms of communication, the machine supports multi-network collaboration, dual-network concurrency, multi-device communication sharing, and AI signal prediction. It also comes with a 120Hz colour screen with 1 billion colours and a maximum of dual 32-megapixel Vlog lenses.

Huawei Mate 50 series to arrive in July

In the past few months, there have been a couple of reports regarding the Huawei Mate 50 series. There are reports that the Huawei Mate 50 series will officially arrive in July this year. Of course, this device will come with Huawei’s HarmonyOS 3.0 system but will not have 5G. According to previous reports, Huawei is creating an adapter case that supports 5G network. Thus, through the smartphone case, the device will be able to get 5G connectivity.

In other respects, the new Huawei Mate 50 series flagship will return to the small notch design. This smartphone will come with the same LTPO screen as the iPhone 13 Pro series. This display can realize the adaptive refresh rate adjustment function of 1-120Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on this device will only support 4G. This chip uses Samsung’s 4nm process as well as a three-cluster CPU design. It has 1 x 3.0GHz Cortex X2 super core, 3 x 2.5GHz Cortex A78 large core and 4 x 1.79GHz Cortex A55 small core. It is basically the same as the SD8 Gen1 chips in the market but will not support 5G. From the look of things, we will have to wait a few more weeks to get this device.
